This bustling city is a favourite of many with a mixture of arts, entertainment and sport surrounded by a more relaxing, rural environment.
Our Nottingham office is based at The Arc on the NG2 retail park, five minutes from the centre of the city made easier by a NET tram stop being located just outside the office.
Nottingham is a city of culture, including art, architecture, theatre and festivals. Leading art galleries such as Nottingham Contemporary, Harley Gallery and Patchings Art Centre are central to the city, alongside distinctive buildings designed by Victorian architect Watson Fothergill. The city is home to two theatres, the Nottingham Playhouse and Theatre Royal, which both have a varied programme of musicals, drama and comedy as well as outdoor theatre in the summer. There are festivals to suit all interests including Splendour and Mayhem, the horror and cult film festival.
Nottingham’s nightlife scene is busy with a mix of entertainment and music, from high class cocktails, bars and nightclubs, to real ale pubs, alternative music havens and fantastic music and arts venues. The city has won a Purple Flag nightlife award for the last seven years, meaning Nottingham is officially one of the safest and best places to go for a night out in Britain.
Nottingham is home to a variety of sports teams including Notts County, the oldest football league club in the world, Nottingham Forest and Nottingham Panthers. It also hosts other sports events at its many sporting venues including the National Ice Centre, National Water Sports Centre and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.
